Rotarian
Dave Rogers

Why You Joined Rotary?

Joined Rotary to give back the wonderful communities of El Dorado County by first joining the Placerville Club where I went to High School before going off to college at the University of Nevada, Reno and then on active duty as a Chemical Officer in the U.S. Army, serving in a combat zone along the Korean DMZ.  I transferred to the Pollock Pines-Camino Rotary Club because of their focus on the local youth of the community.  Rotary's contribution to international services is also a driving factor of my membership.

What Is Your Favorite Event?

My favorite events include 3rd Grade Dictionaries, Evening in the Orchard, Strikes for Scholarships, Speech Contests and interaction with the Placerville and Georgetown Rotary club events.

Rotary Designations?

I have had the privilege of serving as President during 2014-15, Foundation Chair 2015-16, Evening in the Orchard Chair 2013-14 for the Pollock Pines-Camino Club.

How Long Have You Been A Rotarian?

I have been a Rotarian since 2010.
